What is a Club Page?

All clubs in ResultSheet have a dedicated club page which shows the following:

  1. Future events that are being promoted by the club
  2. Past events the club has promoted
  3. Events that riders from that club have raced in, along with their result and placing

This page allows clubs to have a central place for their club results without needing to maintain a separate website and an easy way to promote future events.

Configuring your Club Page

In order to configure your Club Page you will need to be made the administrator for your club. The ResultSheet team manage the process and you can request to be assigned as your club administrator as follows:

  1. Log into ResultSheet
  2. Select “View club page” from the menu, this will take you to your club page
  3. Tap the “Request to be made admin” button. If the button isn’t shown, the club either has an admin or a request has already been made. This will be indicated at the top of the Club Page

The request will be sent to the ResultSheet team and you will receive an email once you have been assigned as the admin.

After you receive the email, visit your club page again and the “Edit club details” button will be shown at the page footer. Tapping the button will enable you to configure the page as follows:

  • Upload a logo: This logo will be displayed on your Club Page as well as events your club promotes
  • Header text: This is the text that appears beneath your club name on the Club Page
  • Website: Your club website
  • Email: The email address for people to contact your club
  • Facebook ID: The Facebook ID for your club. This can also be link to a Facebook group if required
  • Instagram ID: The instagram ID for your club
  • ResultSheet Club Administrator: This will be set to you, although you can assign a new administrator if required. Note that this means you will lose club page admin privileges as they will move to the administrator you assign. The person you assign as the club admin will receive an email letting them know

Linking to your Club Page from your website or social media pages

The URL link in your browser address bar is unique to your club, so this is the address to use when setting up a link from your website or social media pages. You can either copy/paste the link manually from the browser address bar or click the “Share” button that is shown on mobile devices when viewing the Club Page.

Maintaining events on your Club Page

The Club Page should be zero maintenance, as follows:

  • To add a future event, create the event as normal with your club set as the promoting club and the date set in the future, publish it and the event will then appear on the Club Page in the Future Events section. Hint: Include a link in the event to online entry if you have it as this will offer an easy way for riders to enter
  • Past events will automatically appear in the Past Events section once their event date is later than today’s date. Past events will need to remain published in order to appear
  • Rider results will automatically appear as the other event organisers add the results

Other Club Page functionality

If a club hasn’t promoted any events and doesn’t have any future events set up in ResultSheet, the future and past events sections will be hidden. If a club is a district, the riders section will not be shown.
