This product update contained: Backend enhancements so that the event series process makes better use…
As the functionality of ResultSheet expands, keeping the app layout simple becomes more complicated, especially on mobile devices. To help address this and pave the way for future updates we have introduced a new menu when viewing results on a phone. The menu “burger icon” is at the bottom right of the app and offers the following options:
- Event QR code: This replaces the QR icon that was originally on the page footer and will show the QR code for the event
- Event information: If an event has further information, e.g. a link to the event on the CTT website, you can now access that using this option. The additional information will open in a new browser window, enabling you to easily navigate back to the event
- Course records: This replaces the original checkered flag icon and will show course records for the event
- Contact event organiser: Displays a popup containing contact details of the event organiser
- Other events on ResultSheet: This will take you to the main ResultSheet events list in a new browser tab
- Manage event: If you created the event or are the event manager or time keeper, this option will take you to the event management page
If an option isn’t available for the event, e.g. there aren’t any course records, that option will not be shown in the menu.
Other items in this release, include:
- When viewing team results, a “Calculating, one sec…” popup window is shown when ResultSheet is initially calculating the standings
- When looking at the HQ results and summary pages, clicking a rider will now show their additional information, as per the behaviour on mobile devices
- Bug fixed: The event distance field is now mandatory when creating an event
- Bug fixed: Tapping “Clear” on the mobile filters page now recalculates things correctly
- Bug fixed: The “Enter Results” popup that is shown when a time keeper is entering results now correctly shows all options if you are the event creator but not manager or time keeper
