Events will not be viewable by other people or appear on the ResultSheet website until they have been published. You would normally publish an event once the start sheet has been finalised within ResultSheet and before the event itself, this way you can distribute links to the start sheet in the run up to the event.

To publish your event, perform the following:

  • Login to ResultSheet
  • The list of events you are presented with will be colour coded, red events are not published and green events are published
  • Choose the event you wish to publish from the events list
  • If the event hasn’t been paid for yet, select the “Pay for event” option and choose your preferred plan. Once the payment has been processed you will be returned to the event options page
  • From the options presented, if the event is currently not published, the “Publish Event” button will be shown in red
  • Select this button and it will turn dark blue and the name will change to “Unpublish Event”, indicating that the event is now published
  • Tapping the button again will turn the button red and unpublish the event

Once an even is published, it will turn green in the event list and will appear on the ResultSheet website for public viewing.

Note: when first signing up, ResultSheet will create a demo event for you to play with. It isn’t possible to publish this, so please create a new one when you are ready to set up a live event.
